I am super picky when it comes to dresses- I don’t want anything too girly but I love fun prints. The dress is sold out in this print but there’s a navy version available here.
This bag was a definite splurge, but so totally worth it. Red has always been a favorite color of mine, and this bag looks good with everything. The belt bag trend is definitely here to stay this year so I linked some of my favorites below.
All my band tee purchases. Duh.
It’s not exactly a secret that I’m obsessed with band tees and living in L.A. has only helped feed my addiction. I wrote an entire post about shopping for them here. In short, I love Madeworn tees (designed to look vintage) but I also love thrifting. I’ve been closet cleaning recently and have gotten rid of a few I don’t love/wear consistently but overall they’re still a big part of my wardrobe.
I have worn these so often that I actually just got myself a second pair because they were getting worn down. For only $128, they’ve been a super comfortable pair of boots and a fun way to switch up otherwise basic outfits. I was really hesitant to buy a pair of white shoes because I’m so pale, but I’m actually shocked at how useful have been.
I found my favorite jeans this year and was so excited about them that I bought them twice (are you sensing a theme here?). Finding jeans can be so challenging, so when you find a pair with the perfect fit, don’t hesitate! If you follow me on Instagram you’ll notice I’ve worn these in the last two outfit photos I’ve posted.
P.S.- Despite how amazing these are, they’re still prone to the annoying old people jokes about ripped jeans.
My 2018 Wishlist
An everyday black bag with gold hardware.. I bought this one last year but it’s been hard to pack for trips due to its bulkiness so I mostly wear it when I’m home.
I haven’t found “the one” yet but I’ve been eyeing this Prada bag.
A great pair of platform sneakers..
Cool pins for my jean jackets..I just bought this one by Loewe (it’s comprised of cursive L’s, how could I not?!) but I’ll still be on the hunt whenever I’m thrifting this year. I think pins are highly underrated- they’re a great way to dress up and personalize a jean jacket.
Black boots – crossed this one off my list the other day and got these.
More dresses I actually like (it’s a real struggle) – I love maxi dresses but hate getting them hemmed, but I’m very over the body-con trend. I was eyeing this silk dress all last season and finally scooped it up from the Revolve sale the other day (now I just need an event to wear it to).
I know a lot of these items are higher in price, but one of my resolutions this year is to invest more in pieces I’ll have long term as opposed to things I’ll tire of quickly. I made way too many trips to Goodwill/my local consignment store last year.
I’m always sharing my most recent purchases and linking to them on instagram- so make sure you’re following me there 🙂
