A Week in ATL: Outfits & Highlights

Visiting a place you used to live is always bittersweet.  Living in Atlanta- my birthplace and where I spend the first year of my life- at age 21 was so much fun. I’m glad I got to finish college there, make new friends and give my pup Gigi lots of outdoor space.

When I turned 23, I knew it was time for me to move. I’m happy I did, but Atlanta will always have a piece of my heart. That being said, the only thing I absolutely do not miss about Atlanta is the winter weather. L.A. has turned me into a major wimp about cooler temperatures.

A little about what I was up to in ATL: My trip was mostly for fun to see my sister, friends and meet up with my boyfriend for the last weekend I was there. Whenever I head back to ATL, I try and make a list of all the new restaurants I want to try and the places I’ve been before and need to go back to. As far as shopping goes- I went to Neiman’s to shop their end-of-season sale, but was mostly excited about going to local consignment stores because their prices are so.much.better. than L.A.’s.

Prada Tortoise Sunglasses- I will admit to owning these sunglasses in black, but still want them in tortoise. They go with everything and are the perfect understated accessory for summer.
