Went to San Diego last weekend for a much needed getaway. Sharing some pics from my trip (above) and my packing list. Since my trip was roughly 72 hours, I didn’t need much. I tried to pack pieces that were easy to mix and match and neutral colors- a hard thing for me to do but I was able to bring color into the mix through my accessories. I asked you all a few weeks ago on my instagram stories if you wanted to see my packing lists when I travel and an overwhelming majority of you said yes so here’s what I brought with me:
know my love of band tees isn’t exactly something I keep to myself. My collection has grown infinitely since I moved to L.A., and I’ve figured out a few ways to keep it growing without breaking the bank.
Below are my tips for shopping for band tees no matter where you live!
I know I already waxed poetic about how you need plaid in your fall wardrobe (which you probably already have, but this piece is a real game changer- just saying), but I’m about to add another trend to that list.
I am definitely not a dress girl. Since I didn’t attend a traditional university for most of my college years , I didn’t have the usual events that required formal wear. Dressing up was not as much of a priority as going to my favorite vintage shops and buying way too many pairs of black boots (mostly of the platform variety).
Living in L.A. doesn’t necessarily mean a huge change in weather when Fall comes, but I’ve purchased a few pieces that I can incorporate into looks I wear all the time, a.k.a with a white tee and jean shorts. So far, this blazer is my favorite one.
I thought these photos were appropriate for a post about how I chose my blog name and why my path to blogging has been a little unique.
I know velvet is not exactly a new trend at this point, but it’s definitely a necessity for every fall wardrobe. These Paige crop flares came into my life in a very fateful way- I found them with tags still on at my favorite thrift store and they somehow fit me perfectly- call this a (not so) humble brag but as anyone under 5’5 knows this is incredibly rare. For all other petite people out there- I think cropped pants are our calling. I’m so excited for a trend that won’t involve alterations.
I recently had a random man in an elevator ask me if I even knew who Iron Maiden was (rude) and I happily informed him that I had a very close friend who used to work for them (which I do).
