A Week in ATL: Outfits & Highlights

By Monday, February 19, 2018 0 , Permalink 0

Visiting a place you used to live is always bittersweet.¬† Living in Atlanta- my birthplace and where I spend the first year of my life- at age 21 was so much fun. I’m glad I got to finish college there, make new friends and give my pup Gigi lots of outdoor space.

When I turned 23, I knew it was time for me to move. I’m happy I did, but Atlanta will always have a piece of my heart. That being said, the only thing I absolutely do not miss about Atlanta is the winter weather. L.A. has turned me into a major wimp about cooler temperatures.

A little about what I was up to in ATL: My trip was mostly for fun to see my sister, friends and meet up with my boyfriend for the last weekend I was there. Whenever I head back to ATL, I try and make a list of all the new restaurants I want to try and the places I’ve been before and need to go back to. As far as shopping goes- I went to Neiman’s to shop their end-of-season sale, but was mostly excited about going to local consignment stores because their prices are so.much.better. than L.A.’s.

Blue Crush: My Favorite Unexpected Color Combination

By Tuesday, February 6, 2018 0 , , Permalink 0

I think the color pink got a bad rep for a while- movies in the early 2000s made it seem like a color reserved for mean cheerleaders and juicy tracksuits. In the past two years, there has been a major turnaround for the color with lighter shades of the color majorly coming in to play- just look at the packaging for one of my favorite beauty brands, Glossier. Now that ‘millennial pink’ has become the term for every shade of the color that isn’t blinding, it can even seem a little too trendy at times.

Beauty Routine: My Everyday Favorites

By Wednesday, January 17, 2018 0 , , , Permalink 0

I’ve gotten a lot of requests for more beauty content, which I typically do only sparingly when I’ve tried some new products and want to share. In an Instagram poll I did a few weeks ago, I asked whether you wanted to hear more about my daily routine or new products I’ve been trying and the overwhelming response was my daily routine.

2018 Resolutions: Shopping, Closet Cleaning & Style

By Wednesday, January 10, 2018 0 No tags Permalink 0

Just being honest here, but I have been semi-putting off this post because I am rarely organized when it comes to shopping or keeping my closet neat and it feels weird sharing advice on this topic. However, I’m trying to be more thoughtful with my purchases and better about sharing content on my site and instagram. I just went through a major closet clean-out and it has motivated me to be better about keeping my space neat and buying things I’ll actually wear.

Time to Shop: Sale Season ft. Net-A-Porter, Shopbop & Urban Outfitters

My absolute favorite sale of the year is here.. Net-A-Porter’s site is filled with amazing finds and some pieces I’ve been eyeing all season that are now much more budget friendly. This isn’t one of those sales where you’ll have buyers remorse, these pieces are trendy but also great investments. I picked out some of my favorite finds below, but click here if you’d rather be directly connected to their site. Happy Shopping!

Floral Maxi: My Case for the Holiday Dress

Going home for the holidays is supposed to be fun, but is inevitably filled with events you’re not always ¬†excited about. It’s not easy to look forward to said events, but a new dress always helps.

Sweater Weather

Clearly we aren’t in full blown sweater weather here in California, but still- the temps have dropped and to me anything below 65 is cold. The one I’m pictured wearing is from a boutique and no longer available, but I linked to one that is almost identical.
